There are many questions that you will need to be answered before you consider whether eWebz can be of any assistance to you and your company. Below is a list of the more frequently asked questions that we have received from our clients to try and help you find the answers you are looking for. Q1. Why would we need a website?
A website design is the future of advertising for any company. It is online 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. A constant advert for your company available to view by clients all around the world. It gives any potential client or customer the chance to learn more about your company, your products or services and your contact information, and even the opportunity to purchase your products via the internet. It will often be the first line of contact between client and company these days. Years ago, a website was a luxury for any company. Now it has become a necessity.
Q2. What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a service which is provided to enable you and your company to home your website on the internet, every website on the internet needs to be stored somewhere to enable access for its visitors. Hosting provides storage for your site, images, media, information and everything else related to your website. A UK based hosting provider is essential for UK based businesses.
Q3. What is a domain name?
A domain name is a unique address that you will choose and register from an official domain registrar. eWebz can assist you with this process and have vast experience in helping companies finding the right name. The name you choose will be the address of your website. e.g www.eWebz.co.uk
Q4. How long will it take to design our website?
The answer to this question will depend entirely on the content depth and structure of the site itself. Basic websites can be developed within 24 hours, fully functioning. Although we would suggest to allow 3-10 days before completion.
Q5. How will we submit our content to the new website?
eWebz would require any content you would like added to the site (text, images) to be sent via email preferably, or even via post. If you have no content to be added, eWebz will assist you in finding the perfect content for your site.
Q6. We want to use eWebz, what is the next step?
The next step for you, is to contact us using any of the methods on our contact page. From there we will discuss options, pricing and various other aspects of the site development.
Q7. We are not based near eWebz, can we still use you?
The answer to this is Yes. eWebz is mainly an Internet based company, although we do arrange client visits to local customers. Technology these days allows us to complete all the necessary tasks via the internet, email and telephone.
Q8. What is Site Maintenance?
Site maintenance, also known as content management, basically means we provide a service where we will stay slong side your company and provide you with the ability to update or change anything in your website. You may wish to change things such as including the latest news, or products. We like to try and keep our designs up with the times, so there may be occasions where your site needs remodernising. Anything to keep the visitors returning to your company site.
Q9. How much does a website cost?
The cost of a website will vary with every site that is developed, we do not build to a specific pricing catagory, we price our sites accordingly to the amount if work that has gone into it. To charge a flat rate fee of £250 per site would be neither fair to us or our clients. Our prices are tailored to suit our designs, and they start from £199 for web development. The only way to find an exact price for your site idea, is to contact us and speak to an advisor.
Q10. How and when do we pay for eWebz services?
eWebz has the facility to be paid via all the usual methods, credit/debit cards, cheques, paypal. For our subscription services, such as site maintenance and web hosting, we also have a Direct Debit facility. You may be asked for a deposit after placing the order for your website of up to 20% of the total cost. Any monthly payments must be made within 14 days of receipt of the invoice or your services may face suspension.
